How can I bring qtcurve style back on settings window?

Application: QtCurve (KDE4, KDE3, & Gtk2 Theme) - Apr 1 2012
answered
Question:Hi everybody.

I'm experiencing a problem, curreently I'm using KDE 4.8 on Ubuntu 11.10, everythig works ok, but from about a month and a half the option to choose QtCurve from the system settings window is gone, the qtcurve packaged are installed and I know for sure that is something related to my user profile, since I've just tried with another "clean" user and the option is right there. BTW the window decoration option is still there, the problem is only with the widget style.

I hope you can give me a hint on how to solve this whitout wiping out all of my configurations.

I'm attaching an image of the system settings window

Thanks in advanced, best regards!

How can I bring qtcurve style back on settings window?

Answer:Finally got it!

After extensively search for the cause, I've discover that somehow my home directory was missing this file:

~/.config/Trolltech.conf

I've just copied from a clean user and the QtCurve option is back on the settings window.

I hope it helps to someone.

Bye!
