Desktop Screenshots

Yeah, this is a group where I thought we could post
screenshots of our desktops. Why? well, I like looking
at other ppl's desktops and configurations, they give me
Ideas I can't possibly have with my current IQ.

So please! if you have a very nice desktop, don't be shy,
put it up here!

please use bbcode when u post, makes it easier for
other users to view ur screenshot, just put "[url]" in
front of the link and "[/url]" after... then it will look
like this http://www.link.to.ur.amazing.screenshot.html
Thank u for ur consideration!

services one can use to upload pics and then share the link:
http://photobucket.com/ (requires free registration)

if you know of any others, let me know, ok?

You think you have a killer desktop? prove it! :D

 Still ScrotWM

It seems I'm settled on ScrotWM for my netbook's CLI dependent setup. Every other tiling WM I've tried has fallen by the wayside.

A couple more, just for kicks.

All I did was make some crappy wallpapers and play with xcompmgr for some shadows and transparency.

Giving the wall a chance to shine through; that's what I'm talkin about! Must have been a weekend, gutterslob, if only 2 or 3 windows are up =) Yeah I'm counting the clock too heh

I got me an upgrade, a refurb X41 from 2005. So take out the round directional dial and the fingerprint scanner from the wall that I'm showing, and you got an idea of what I got. Now my Youtube viewing won't crash now that I've finally broken the 1G RAM barrier. Will keep XP because I'm lovin the surf-in-portrait-as-tablet. But I dualboot to Elive and maybe later, Fedora Design spin for its tablet features.

Only in it for the eye-candy. What's *your* excuse?

Looks good. The white meter sort of ruins it a bit, imo. Try to get a darker version if it's available. One of my fave wallpapers, that one. :)

I see you're still using those funky dock icons. Good job.

Still the same ... just punchier colors and a tweaked VIM scheme.
